With a Master of Occupational Treatment (MOT)
Masters Degree In Occupational Therapy from Nebraska Methodist College, you're encouraged to gear up individuals with necessary tools that enhance their quality of life, also when faced with obstacles. This 2.5 year program concentrates on the practice of work therapy, emphasising the use of previous skills and knowledge to improve the effectiveness of OT technique and the development of sophisticated adult learning skills for ongoing specialist development.
The program is created to improve your previous researches with the principles of job-related treatment technique and see you create the interdisciplinary understanding and professional abilities required to exercise as an OT. You'll carry out a series of research-focused courses and total innovative training in scientific reasoning and health study, enhancing your understanding of the role of evidence in occupational therapy method.
A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and have finished university-level research studies in human makeup, human physiology, and introductory psychology. Domestic trainees that are accepted into the Master of Work Treatment Studies pay tuition fees. The Master of Job-related Therapy Studies is certified by the Work-related Treatment Council of Australia Ltd (OTC) and accepted by the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (OTBA).
The Australian Government has accepted this master's program for income assistance settlements to be made to eligible trainees. Throughout the program, you'll embark on more than 1000 hours of supervised professional placements in UQ's Occupational Therapy Facilities located at the St Lucia campus and in healthcare facilities, schools and other medical care organisations.
